Too Good To Go is the world's number 1 app for fighting food waste and present in 15 countries now. We reduce food waste by making surplus food from any food stores available to citizens.

We have big, big plans to grow rapidly and build an always stronger and bigger team of the most engaged and talented Waste Warriors always in order to fight against food waste.

Your mission:

We are looking for a dedicated Business Developer with a passion for tackling food waste, and who is above all a hunter. Ideally, you're based in Paris or suburbs and available to travel around Ile de France. You’ll be in charge of a specific area to increase the market penetration of Too Good To Go. You will report to the Team Lead Outbound, but will also have a high degree of independence. As a Business Developer, you're eager to get out there, build connections and grow our community of food waste warriors by signing up bakeries, pastries, cafés, bars, and local food retailers.

Your role:

  • Developing a strategy to build a robust network of independent stores in your region (sourcing, prospecting, referrals)
  • Mapping & Building a network: Mapping out TGTG opportunities within the region, connecting and creating strong relationships with all potential partners; pitch in merchant associations for instance!
  • Prospecting and negotiation: Learn as much as possible about your prospects; by investigating by phone, by going into the field or by any other creative way in order to offer them the most suitable offer to convince them to join Too Good To Go and fight against food waste! You will spend +80% of your time contacting food retail owners and discovering new partners. You will introduce new partners to the world of Too Good To Go, train them on how to use the app and advise them on finding the best possible solution for food waste
  • Following up with the stores: you will keep the relation with the store to set things up well with them and maximize their impact - create a real ambassadors network and make sure they use our solution in the best way possible. 
  • Working closely with other departments, like Marketing and Success, to maximize results.
Profil recherché

Your Profile:

  • Previous experience as a Business Developer in charge of a specific scope is a big PLUS. 
  • Already having contacts with food stores in Paris region is a PLUS
  • You love being alone on the road and convincing people is a passion.
  • Holding a driver’s license and feeling comfortable driving is a MUST.
  • You never give up, you have a high-energy, honesty, efficiency and result-oriented working style
  • You are independent, an amazing organiser, know how to efficiently prioritize tasks and how to handle several projects at a time.
  • You have the ability to lead negotiations and create and deliver high impact pitches. Excellent commercial acumen.
  • You have a sense of community and you know how to engage people
  • Self motivated, you need & love to be challenged 
  • You are structured, organized and rigorous
  • Great persuasive force along with good listening
  • You’re fluent in French and comfortable in English
