Too Good To Go is the world's number 1 app for fighting food waste. We reduce food waste by making surplus food from any food stores available to citizens. The magic of Too Good To Go has been spreading madly across Europe and now also the US. With 20,000 store partners and 9 million users, it’s more than 25.000.000 meals that have been saved in France already. 

We have big, big plans to keep up our growth path and build an always stronger and bigger team of the most engaged and talented Waste Warriors. Too Good To Go is not only an app but a growing movement of people fighting food waste, and it would not exist without our committed users and stores who desperately want to save delicious food. 

That means we’re looking for talented people with diverse skills and backgrounds to add to our rapidly growing team. That is where you come in: we’re looking for an exceptional Business Developer to join us in our Paris office.

Your Mission:

Reporting directly to the Team Lead Integrated Supermarket, you will play a pivotal role in the growth of Too Good To Go in France and the fight against food waste by driving acquisition of new franchised stores such as supermarkets, convenience and organic stores.

 

The role will include:

  • Use your authentic communication skills and passion to fight food waste to persuade new stores to join our app by calling them proactively.
  • Onboard, train new partners and become their main point of contact to maximize their Too Good To Go experience throughout the starting phase.
  • Find creative and meaningful ways to encourage newly joined partners to spread the word about Too Good To Go – unleash the power of your business developer mind!
  • Organize your calling sessions (or field trip occasionally) and follow up on your tasks.
  • Facilitate your acquisition strategy by reaching out to headquarters / key stakeholders so that they can also talk about us and generate leads.
  • You will work with weekly and monthly targets and KPIs.
  • You will work closely with other departments, like Marketing and Success, to maximize results.
Profil recherché

Your Profile:

  • You have at least 1 year experience in sales/business development, including cold acquisition.
  • You have strong communication skills and feel comfortable when you approach people.
  • You have zero fear of the phone and have the tenacity to keep trying when things get tough
  • Great persuasive force along with good listening
  • You are positive, proactive, creative and resourceful.
  • Autonomous, structured and organized in your work: You know how to efficiently prioritize tasks and how to follow up on projects
  • You are driven by results and the idea of fighting food waste.
  • You're our best ambassador by embodying the philosophy and tone of our brand internally and externally
  • Previous experience in the food sector is a valuable plus.
  • You’re fluent in French and comfortable in English
