🔎 What we're looking for

After raising a big seed round from prominent European venture capital and impact firms, we are looking for a business developer / sales development representative to join our team in Paris. The management team is experienced, ambitious and gathers serial entrepreneurs, investors and data scientists. You will work directly with the CEO, to serve our rapidly growing client base. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing tech company determined to make a strong positive impact on the world.

 

🚀 Purpose and Responsibilities

As part of the Growth team, you’ll be at the heart of the engine which is securing us new leads, convert them to active customers and grow our brand.

Your role would have the following key responsibilities:

  • Use lead generation tools to prepare lists of prospects for outbound engagement
  • Support, manage and optimise outbound growth hacking campaigns
  • Establish contact with prospects (including C-suite) via emailing and calling
  • Proactively research and initiate business opportunities in new customer segments
  • Conduct discovery calls and demos to prospects
  • Ad hoc support to CEO and other team members in securing new accounts
  • Develop and refine sales strategies as well as prepare and review sales materials

🏋🏽 About You

  • Experience in sales development, account management, customer success or business development, ideally within SaaS. However all relevant backgrounds will be considered
  • Confident, effective communicator who can present to C-suite and expert professionals
  • Self starter who can work autonomously to meet defined KPIs
  • Deep interest in sustainability in general, as well as environmental and social challenges. Knowledge of key ESG concepts, reporting frameworks and regulatory environment are highly valued, but not critical given our internal training materials
  • Fluency in English is important since it is our primary working language, and conversational French is a plus since we’re based in Paris
  • Strong desire to work for a purpose-driven tech startup in a dynamic environment
